Cambridge LKG

Cambridge LKG

Our Lower Kindergarten (LKG) program follows the Cambridge Early Years Curriculum, combined with Montessori practices, to provide a balanced foundation for lifelong learning. At this stage, children are ready for more structured learning experiences that build on their natural curiosity while developing key academic and life skills.

Key Highlights of the Cambridge LKG Program:

  • Language & Literacy – Early reading and writing through phonics, storytelling, rhymes, picture reading, and sentence building.
  • Mathematics – Number recognition, counting, sequencing, simple addition/subtraction, shapes, and patterns using hands-on materials.
  • Knowledge & Understanding of the World – Theme-based projects, nature walks, and simple science explorations to spark curiosity.
  • Personal, Social & Emotional Development – Activities that encourage confidence, teamwork, empathy, and responsibility.
  • Creative Expression – Art, music, dance, and imaginative play that enhance self-expression and creativity.
  • Montessori Integration – Practical life activities and sensorial work that build concentration, problem-solving, and independence.
  • Physical Development – Indoor and outdoor play to improve balance, coordination, and overall health.
  • Global Perspective – Exposure to diverse cultures, values, and ideas as encouraged by the Cambridge framework.

Our Cambridge LKG Program ensures that children gain strong literacy, numeracy, social, and creative skills, preparing them with confidence for UKG and the next stage of the Cambridge pathway.
